Terms and Conditions

Palermia is a service operated by Sigmund LLC, located at 30 N. Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming, United States, together with Neolo SRL, located in Buenos Aires City, Argentina, which collaborates on the platform's development and technical support. Throughout this document, "Palermia", "we", or "the service" refer to these two entities together.

By creating an account or using Palermia, whether as a senior living community, a member of its care staff, or a family member of a resident, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

Palermia is an application that connects senior living communities with the families of their residents, allowing them to share photos, updates, meal and medication information, direct messages, visit requests, and documents, with the goal of making daily communication between both sides easier.

Each person using Palermia is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for all activity that occurs under their account. Communities are responsible for correctly adding and removing their staff and each resident's authorized family members.

We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that misuse the service, that violate these terms, or that pose a risk to other users.

By using Palermia, you agree not to post offensive or false content, or content that violates a resident's privacy or dignity, not to share a resident's photos or information without proper consent, and to use the service in accordance with the laws applicable in your country.

We process personal data and photos uploaded to Palermia solely to provide the communication service between the community and families. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Communities are responsible for obtaining proper consent before uploading a resident's photos or information to the platform.

Palermia's paid plans are billed according to what was agreed with each community at the time of signup. Prices may be updated, with reasonable advance notice given to communities with an active subscription.

The software, design, the Palermia brand, and all proprietary platform content belong to Sigmund LLC. Content that a community or family uploads (photos, messages, documents) remains the property of whoever posts it; by uploading it, you grant Palermia a limited license to store and display it only to that community's authorized users.

Palermia is a communication tool and does not replace the professional judgment of the care team or the medical supervision of a resident. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for care decisions made solely based on information shared on the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the platform or by email before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to any rights that local legislation may grant a given user on a mandatory basis.
